Ivy Prosper Biography

Ivy Prosper is a Media Professional with experience as a TV Host, Producer, Writer, and Public Speaker.  She is the Author of the book, ‘Your Essential Guide on Moving to Ghana’ available in two editions on Amazon.  Ivy has been monumental in helping to shape the narrative of Africa through her social media platforms which include her YouTube Channel where she shares stories from Ghana.  As a Documentary Film Producer and Fixer, she has worked on projects about food security, human rights and the Accra episode of the CNN Series, ‘Christiane Amanpour’s Love & Sex Around the World’.

She is the Social Media Manager for the ‘Year of Return’ and ‘Beyond the Return’ initiatives, under Ghana Tourism Authority where she has been instrumental in connecting the diaspora with Ghana through social media.

She’s an advocate for the empowerment of women and girls and has been a Keynote Speaker since 2004, having delivered powerful motivational talks to thousands of youth on issues of self-esteem, body image, confidence and career goals.

Her experience in Canada, the United States and Ghana, empowers her when communicating to diverse audiences.  Born in Ghana, Ivy spent most of her life living in Canada and a short period in the U.S. while studying radio and television broadcasting.  She currently lives in Ghana.
